Prefer the responsible public authority
City applications and signed resolutions support the municipal process. County PRMAR guidance supports the unincorporated-area path. DEP, FWC, USACE, FEMA, NOAA and licensing boards support their own subjects. Source links, review dates and limitations are retained with the content.
Research was checked October 25, 2026. A review date is not a promise that a fee, form or rule will remain unchanged. Confirm applicability with the responsible office when planning work.
Keep unresolved questions visible
The city’s 2014 owner manual explains failure mechanisms, not today’s structural specifications. The 2018 city-hosted code packet is historical; current codified numerical height limits could not be verified during this review. No automatic pass/fail height result is offered.
The linked application contains older fees. The cost guide uses signed Resolution 26-26 effective June 1, 2026 and identifies the discrepancy instead of silently choosing a number.

Maps are orientation aids
Offline maps use official Collier land data, Census water geometry and city road records. Area markers are documented reference points, not offices, surveyed neighborhood boundaries or proof that a contractor serves a parcel. Map links lead to editorial guides.
Reused waterfront artwork is illustrative. It does not document a completed project or represent a particular Marco Island property.
No fabricated performance or pricing claims
We do not invent reviews, project histories, licensing claims, addresses, local construction averages or guaranteed savings. Calculator starting ranges identify the original publisher, geography and work scope. You can also enter a price quoted for your property. Public permit fees retain their category, date and exclusions.
To report an error, email contact@seawallmarcoisland.com with the affected page, the original source and the specific claim to review.
About the waterfront images
Some waterfront images are AI-generated to show a coastal setting. They are not photographs of completed jobs or verified property addresses. Technical diagrams explain concepts; they are not construction drawings.
